The author discusses his interest for computer music and his opinion on musique concrète and electronic music. He focuses on his research on computer music including issues associated with psychacousts: the imitation of instrumental sounds, his compositional research concerning texture, his sound illusion discoveries, the use of sound transformations and the association of acoustic and digital sounds in mixed works. His paper contains numerous references to his musical works and an important bibliography on his music.
