In this article, the author shares his three wishes for future developments in computer music technology: 1) Intelligent instruments with the capacity to adapt to personal playing styles, 2) alternatives to the standard keyboard controller for computer music performance, and 3) source model loudspeakers that allow for better acoustical spatialisation and balancing of un-amplified acoustic instruments and electroacoustic material in mixed work performances.
