The author analyses three works of Jonathan Harvey composed at IRCAM: Bhakti (1982) for fifteen instruments and tape, Mortuos plango, vivos voco (1980) for tape, and Inner Light (1975) for large orchestra and tape. He focuses his analysis on serialism in Jonathan Harvey's method of composition.
