Jean Pallandre defines phonography (used in the sense of a soundscape photograph) as an experimental writing situation: in opposition to recording, the phonography is seen as a game. After this recording game and before public presentation, the composer develops his artistic project to sculpt and forge the sound in studio. Finally, the author analyses the role of phonography in current musical landscape and defends it as a new art.
