Oscillation

Any quantity or body is in a state of oscillation when its value or motion is continually changing so that it passes through maximum and minimum values or positions. When a system, body or quantity is set in period motion or vibration, it is said to be in oscillation.

A swinging pendulum, a vibrating string, and a bobbing buoy are all examples of oscillation and simple harmonic motion. However, random noise is also an oscillation since it passes through maximum and minimum values. Oscillations whose frequency lies within the audible range are heard as sound. Oscillation

Oscillazione

Qualsiasi valore o corpo è in stato di oscillazione quandola sua posizione o il suo movimento passano continuamente da valori minimi a valori massimi. Quando un sistema, un corpo o un valore è animato da un movimento periodico o vibratorio, viene definito in stato di oscillazione.

Un pendolo che oscilla, una corda vibrante o una boa fluttuante sono esempi di oscillazione e di movimento armonico semplice. Tuttavia, anche un rumore aleatorio è un'oscillazione poiché attraversa valori minimi e ssimi. Le oscillazioni che si trovano all'interno delle soglie di udibilità sono percepite come suoni. Oscilación

Una cantidad o cuerpo está en estado de oscilación cuando su valor o movimiento está continuamente cambiando de modo tal que pasa a través de posiciones o valores máximos y mínimos. Cuando un sistema, cuerpo o cantidad es puesto en vibración o movimiento periódico, se dice que está en oscilación.

Un péndulo basculante, una cuerda vibrante o una plomada que se menea son todos ejemplos de oscilaciones y movimientos armónicos simples. Sin embargo, el ruido aleatorio es también una oscilación dado que pasa a través de valores máximos y mínimos. Las oscilaciones cuyas frecuencias caen dentro del rango audible son escuchadas como sonido.
