In this paper, the authors note that the body has only played a minor role in the creation and performance of electronic music, despite the inextricable link between the human body and musical performance throughout history. To this end they consider aesthetic and technical issues relating to new approaches to interactive music and improvisation, and the reintegration of the physical body, and physicality in general into the performance of electronic music.
