Electronic music at Iowa University has been developed through the Electronic Music Studio, the Center for new Music, the Recording Studio, the School of Art, the Department of Speech and Dramatic arts, the Physics Department and the Center of New Performing Arts. The author presents the history, development, most important composers and research activities of these places since 1964.
