Through his recent compositions, the author describes methods of real-time granular processing with time-shifting (altering the sound duration without side-effects in the frequency domain). He used KYMA-CAPYBARA33 and the PODX programs to compose his works Hybris and Essai du vide. Schweigen. Beside explanating granular time-shifting, the author describes the implementation of both programs and the musical realisation of his pieces.
