The technologies of electroacoustic music reveal new time fields. The author explores these perceptions of time with regard to the listener or the composer and compares them to the perception of time in instrumental music. He also examines the coexistence of different senses of time in mixed work: time for the performer, the time sensation of a tape, and time for the listener.
