The authors analyse the spiritual trajectory of Michael Adamis, one of the most important contemporary Greek composers, through the study of his combination of electronic sound, Byzantine singing and contemporary compositional techniques in three works (Apokalypsis, Tetelestai and Kratima) for vocal group and tape that were composed between 1967-1971.
