While the role of spatial acoustics in traditional music spaces is relatively clear, with virtual spaces, the constraints of physical sound are removed. Spaces Speak invents the meta language of spatial experience simultaneously describing both conventional performance spaces and spatial simulations. The language of spatiality fuses source instruments with spatial awareness, becoming a unified concept that contains two major dimensions: temporal and spatial spreading. The former is intrinsically part of the musical source, while the latter becomes "aural caffeine" that heightens sensory awareness.
