In this article, the author offers a very brief overview of music topology which is concerned with the representation of sonorities and their temporal evolution. The topological structure of music encompasses three parameters: 1) location of sound in three dimensional space; 2) vertical organisation of the spectrum of sound waves (frequency); 3) the velocity and direction of sound moving through space.
