In this pamphlet-style book, the author presents his Rhythm Science manifesto. Focussing on music emanating from sampling culture, where a Dj makes an entirely new thing out of existing things, the author describes how such music is based on a flow of patterns in culture - a cultural collage, a musical art form where all meaning has been untethered from the ground of its origins and is re-created as one travels through the musical text, both as a composer and audience/listener.
