Stochastic Music

Stochastic music is based on a process in which the probabilities of proceeding from one state, or set of states, is defined. The temporal evolution of the process is therefore governed by a kind of weighted randomness, which can be chosen to give anything from an entirely determined outcome, to an entirely unpredictable one. Música Estocástica

La música estocástica se basa en un proceso en el que las probabilidades de ocurrencia de un estado, o conjunto de estados, está definido. La evolución temporal del proceso es por lo tanto gobernado por un tipo de aleatoriedad controlada, la que puede ajustarse para dar cualquier resultado desde uno totalmente determinado hasta uno enteramente indeterminado.
