Extending Contacts: the Concept of Unity in Computer Music

The author refers to the Stockhausen' article The Concept of Unity in Electronic Music to search for unity (parametrically) between Stockhausen's analogue techniques in the sixties and today's computerised studio. He used CSound to recreate Stockhausen's examples and demonstrates that digital implementation is easier than one might imagine and introduces some new possibilities (including parameters controls, sound synthesis, sound transformations).
