Using a significant number of sound examples, Delalande introduces various means of analysing electroacoustic works. This text is introductory in nature and includes a number of evocative transcriptions of segments from key works. He concludes this article by introducing his view of the ‘sound' of music, the basis of his book, "Le son des musiques” of the previous year.
